PC Configuration

You go outside and buy yourself a new PC. Bring it home, unbox it, plug it in, and power up your brand new PC. You start by surfing the Net to compare the new computer to the one you previously had. In a very short amount of time you realized what you’ve been missing, or how much better, quicker, or faster is this computer compare to your older PC. After using it for a day or two you realize that the very same PC is kind of sluggish. You may even see pop-ups appearing. You may ask yourself what happened?

Sure the hardware is brand new, but the computer manufacture doesn’t have the time to load each PC with individual software or to perform all of the necessary updates. Most PC’s that are being sold have preinstalled Windows operating system, antivirus, and antispyware programs.

Years ago, it used to be safer to hookup  a new computer to the internet but with today’s technology, security experts,  now state that your computer may be attacked by a hacker on the Internet within 15 seconds.

Another reason why a new computer could have a slow performance is that computer manufactures install different utilities and programs. They claim it will protect or speed up your PC, but the thought is that all that utilities take away processing power and might not be useful to you.

Almost every computer today comes with some kind of antivirus. But what they don’t want you to know is that it’s only a 6 month trial version that come preinstalled. Ok, so you’ll be protected for 6 months that’s if you update the antivirus every day, but what about after 6 months? Do you have to pay for the product and how much does it cost?

The new PC might have a fantastic hardware, and the manufacturer does provide all the new drivers available online on their website, but the OEM software loaded on configured on most computers aren’t safe. Every brand new computer has many of the same issues, those that should be dealt with immediately for your own security, peace of mind, and to get the performance you paid for.
